Since 2001 they’ve partnered with thousands of businesses across the country in all kinds of product and service categories who will contribute a portion of your eligible spending into your Upromise account. You can use your Upromise earnings to pay college expenses, help pay down student loans or link to a 529 account.

As a Upromise member, you can earn 2% for college with every purchase, and for March, we’re increasing our contribution to 3%! I bet you’re asking why companies do this. What’s the catch?
